Exposure Episode 15: Black and White Part I. This is the first in a multi-part series about black and white photography. In this mini-series we’ll be discussing black and white photography in both film and digital formats. Episode 11 picks up where episode 10 left off, and focuses on the gear you’ll need and how to get started with long exposure techniques.

Episode 10 covers long exposure photography. We discuss different types of long exposure situations with a particular focus on night photography. We discuss light metering considerations, technique, and some of the gear you’ll need.

Episode 9 is about switching the mode dial to the dreaded “M” position. Noble and John talk about the basics of using your camera in full manual mode: light metering, exposure, desired effects, special situations, etc. Post a comment on the website and let us know what you think.
